Since it’s been more than two years now I brought my hair under the continuous rage of scissors ultimately producing different styles further putting an investigation my real alter ego. I take down this hour to further elaborate my exploits with my own hair which nevertheless. Curses to the evil eye and thanks to my mother who yet advises me to tie them up. Around March somewhere in early 2014 when I actually decided to take a big leap of trimming my hair above the neckline. A pixie cut has always remained a fascination, combined the same with thick curls, hair dressers offered their most quizzical looks, apart from the reason that I had been discouraged to get hair that short since forever. I emptied search results for pixie cut on Pinterest, that’s how I made rendezvous with the ‘pin board of pretty things’. Looking into the whole badassery pixie cuts exuded I was smitten and made a decision soon enough. Never did I knew that I'll be able to pull it...

" I feel like a Roadrunner..." Caught in a whirlwind. Not so. Not soon. My latest entry into Cult Music listening is Joan Jett. Accidentally discovered in her teenager photograph while fulfilling a whimsical search on September cusp Virgo - Libra. Born on September 22nd, 1958, the eldest of her siblings Joan was gifted her first guitar at the age of fourteen. Fed up with guitar lessons about folk songs, Joan knew she wished to move on and do something that spoke more about herself, building something which was not the anarchist punk and reclined on the riffs of 'rock n roll'. Smitten by the limelight of Los Angles, Joan started off her career with Fowley's all girl rock band, The Runaways. In spite of their petty disputes that surrounded her it nonetheless produced two significant female rock guitarists, Joan and Lita. A strong feminist, Joan when splitting from The Runaways meandered solo before publishing in LA. Weekly "looking for three ...

Studying helps us to understand the world better, and your existence probably. So if I don’t have a book by me at all times and I’m following some reading pattern I assure myself I’m at a perpetual state of chaos. Musing over it brought me closer to the science of Chaos Theory. So a guy named Lorenz somewhere around 70’s made a conceivable idea of simplifying down the complex systems of the nature which at this current day is defying lines right from weather to the economics. Practically it can be applied anywhere, from your life to computer systems as well. There are several underlying concepts that govern chaotic behaviour. And if you so succeed in understanding those, it is somewhat evident to predict an unpredictable system. Such as weather. Sensitivity On Initial Conditions is a favourite concept popularly known as the ‘Butterfly Effect, as per which if the initial point in the system is same over a period of time , irrelevant of what magnitude of dynamics follow we can attain ...

Chuck Palahniuk may not be everyone's cup of tea. With him , it's obvious what you're about to read has to be gruesome and grotesque in some way or the other. The book opens with the scene, where Mr Tender Branson is narrating all the melodies that have struck a note in his not so happening and morbid life to a black box of a plane gone out of control. Since all younger sons of the Creedish 'Death Cult' are destined to become house cleaner, half past the book you will be thoroughly entertained with the intricate description of the routine meticulously written in Mr Branson's daily planner. Who even assists people on their already depressed lives and convince then to commit suicide on his infamously running hotline. Story halfway through gets a romantic twist when tender falls deeper into confusion spending time with a psychic woman, who stays committed to him when he takes on the national television to become a media cult. That's when things spiral out of...

It can’t be a worse day in Mumbai when constipation and humidity happen at the same night. I again caution my fussy readers, that further reading can be ‘gross’ for you. Ahhh. The relief mere farting can bring to a jam packed ass. Anyhow this happens to be another curious event when I took another leisurely trip to the bathroom for evacuation of my bowels. Since I hadn’t developed the habit then to carry reading material in the bathroom unless it wasn’t for a school examination I was more left to my thoughts during the ‘potty times’. Silence, pluck - pluck and flush were the only noises made. And with reference to Shit Chronicles #1 I had made a point leave a last look at the pond before flushing (for those who haven’t read, I had passed black tarry stools which was a terrible sign of concern). I was horrified when I discovered the member accompanying my stool, a more or less deep brown coloured, fleshy and thick with spots and bulging black eyes. The was a fat toad next to ...

Nothing makes me feel better about writing this post than on a night of constipation. Though unpleasant as it may sound ahead but if you've been at the same place(sitting on that bottomless hole) unaware of the creep that will fall down below, you know what can be worse than 'shit happens'. Sometime ago, rather a long time ago when I learnt the side effects that mere Combiflame can create when ingested upon a night of shivering and waking up to a symptom less morning. Not until the horrifying visit to the bathroom around noon. I never refrain from looking at the 'bottomless hole' for some unknown reason I do refrain to investigate upon though. Anyhow the finding this time triggered my curiosity and horror simultaneously without any progression of a similar state into subconsciousness fortunately! A mass of black tar deposited in the canal, and with an instant the water gushed it down further into the depths of the 'bottomless hole'. The doctors were infor...
